Ostium – a new jailbreak tweak developed by Danyl brings a cool screen splitting effect while launching the Notification Center.
After installing the jailbreak tweak, users can access the Notification center by pinching apart the Home screen.
You can use the same gesture in any application. You can swipe from the edge of the screen to dismiss the Notification center.
You can also use the default swipe down and swipe up gestures to access and dismiss the Notification Center with split screen effect.
The jailbreak tweak offers some minor customizations such as the ability to turn on or turn off the regular slide effect via the Settings app (Settings -> Ostium). It works in both the portrait and landscape mode.

Ostium is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It currently supports iOS 5.x.x and doesn’t support support iOS 6.
Ostium is available on Cydia for $0.99. It’s quite a neat jailbreak tweak if you’re looking to enhance the native visual experience of your iOS device.
